As a black belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu, Tony and Impact Jiu Jitsu Portland are resources I continue to seek out in order to expand my own knowledge and practice. I recently completed the Judo for Jiu Jitsu course, and the classes were well-organized with content that Tony made easily comprehensible and immediately applicable. Anyone with access to Tony and Impact Jiu Jitsu Portland would be well advised to make good use of the resource.

Coach Tony put together an incredible three-part Judo seminar series for our fundamentals students, helping us bring Judo into the community. Every student was stoked about the material, and we all looked forward to each session. Tony is a black belt in both Judo and Jiu Jitsu, a black belt competitor, and an all-around great guy. Couldn’t recommend anyone more highly, whether it’s martial arts or strength conditioning!

I’ve been training here since May 2024 and really appreciate the positive environment Tony and his instructors have built. Jiu-jitsu can be tough, but Tony ensures everyone trains safely, shows respect, and keeps a great attitude. I’m committed to continuing my training here and recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming, non-intimidating place to start.
